In view of the increase in demands and the need for environmentally friendly products, our aim in 1995 was to develop an environmentally compatible disinfectant that would handle increasing problems in the field of hygiene. The result of these efforts is a universally applicable disinfectant that was once again approved in summer 2008 by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) in accordance with the latest biocide directives.

The most environmentally friendly H₂O₂ was formulated as the basis for Novasan OSMO P together with extra organic additives for stabilisation as well as other possible applications resp. properties.

Thanks to its special formulation, OSMO P's oxidising properties also allow its use with sensitive polyamide-coated membranes (reverse osmosis). However, it has also been approved by the Swiss FOPH for drinking water disinfection in accordance with the latest biocide directives.

• Can be used successfully to treat legionella in hospitals, old people's homes, etc.
• In the fields of healthcare, medical equipment and laundry, hospitals, air-conditioning plant, the veterinary field, etc.
